US equities opened moderately lower on Powell and Trump comments, but all the bears could manage was an opening low of 6934. There was an upside reversal, printing a new hist' high of 6986, and settling at 6977.
Volatility was mixed, the VIX printing an opening high of 15.79, but cooling back to settle +4.3% at 15.12
