Summary
US equities opened on a moderately positive note. Whilst the two leaders - Trans/R2K, turned red, the SPX battled upward, printing a new hist' high of 6100. The afternoon saw micro chop, with a touch of cooling to settle at 6086.
Volatility remained subdued, the VIX settling +0.3% to 15.10.
