Summary
US equities opened on a positive note, the SPX pushing to 4200, if seeing some cooling into the mid afternoon, to turn fractionally and briefly negative to 4152. The late afternoon saw a few moderate swings.
Volatility was ground lower for a second day, the VIX settling -9.5% to 29.25. A post FOMC/Powell spike toward the 4400s appears on track.
