Weekend update - World equity markets

It was a bullish month for most world equity markets, with net monthly changes ranging from +30.6% (South Korea), +16.1% (Japan), +7.1% (USA, Germany), +6.9% (India), +5.7% (China), +2.3% (Australia), +0.6% (South Africa), -0.03% (Brazil), to -4.3% (Russia).

Summary

Eight world markets were net higher for April, with two net lower.

South Korea and Japan were massively higher, whilst Russia was powerfully lower.

Japan, Brazil, and South Korea broke new historic highs.

The USA, Japan, Brazil, China, South Africa, and South Korean markets are trading above their respective monthly 10MA, and have positive monthly momentum.
