The day begin in pre-market with the latest ADP jobs data: 54K vs 106K (prior rev' from 104K). Not great, but hey... 'bad news is good news', right?
Equities opened a little higher. Whilst early action was a choppy, with the SPX turning red, the bears were powerless, with a secondary push upward to settle at 6502.
Volatility was ground lower, the VIX settling -6.4% to 15.30.
