US equities opened broadly higher, with the SPX seeing an early high of 5746. The gains were shaky though, with cooling to 5702. There was a secondary wave upward to print 5753, and settling at 5751.
Volatility was ground lower into the weekend, the VIX printing 18.48, with a micro upward spike to settle -6.2% to 19.21.
