Summary
US equities opened on a positive note, but the SPX stalled at 5870... 1pt shy of yesterday's hist' high. The SPX saw increasing downward pressure into the late afternoon, printing 5804, and settling at 5815.
With a new hist' high in the Dow, and a fractionally positive R2K, it was to be seen as a mixed Tuesday.
Volatility was mixed, the VIX printing 19.44, but recovering upward to settle +4.8% to 20.64.
