The late morning/early afternoon saw increasing chop. The closing hour sure wasn't pretty, with the Nasdaq leading the way significantly lower.
It was a mixed day for volatility, the VIX printing 22.41, but settling +3.6% to 25.75. Today's daily SPX candle is spiky and black, and leans s/t bearish.
