Summary
It was a real mess of a Friday. Opening gains to 4330, but swinging to moderate declines to 4288, but then another reversal, with the market building significant gains into the late afternoon to 4375, and settling at 4357.
Volatility saw an early high of 23.50, but cooled back to settle -8.6% to 21.15.
