Summary
Equities opened in minor chop mode... although that was a distinct recovery, with the SPX having briefly been -24pts or so, on the latest PPI data. The day saw considerable minor chop, if leaning upward, even breaking a new multi-week high of 5250, and settling at 5246.
Volatility remained subdued, the VIX settling -1.3% to 13.42.
